With its swift and uncomplicated setup, ample vertical space, and roomy floor area, the DOD Apex tent is ideal for any camping trip. Weighing in at only 8.7kg, it is suitable for all outdoor endeavors. The integrated floor and mesh coverings shield against insects, while the outer fly provides weather protection. Strategically placed vents at the apex also promote proper ventilation in warmer climates.

Thanks to its fire-resistant features, this tent will keep you camping through the chilly months. And of course, what's a camping trip without a good ol' campfire? Just remember, no direct flames near the tent. Complete your setup with one of our awesome Winnerwell portable woodburners.

Canvo™

Is a mix of cotton and polyester. Compared to polyester, Canvo™ provides a superior camping experience. The material breathes so the tent does not become humid, it’s quieter in the wind, and it’s more durable. Canvo™ is commonly used for tents in Europe and Japan. It is used less commonly in North America due to the cost. In an effort to introduce Canvo™ tents to the NZ market, NOMADIC is offering the DOD line of Canvo™ tents at prices competitive to polyester tents.

Premium ventilation and breathability

Vents on either side provide epic ventiliation to ensure minimal moisture build-up. 

Great for all seasons

Easily switch the inner tent (sold separately) to mesh with the wide opening front and rear entrances. Stay cool during the hot season and seal out cold air with the fully closable skirt on the flysheet, ensuring warmth during chilly weather.
