Our journey with bell tents started in 2016, marking the foundation of our expertise. With a decade of experience distributing and renting bell tents across New Zealand, we decided to reinvent the design. This new version model is tailored specifically for New Zealand’s conditions, combining the finest features we’ve observed in other tents—without any unnecessary extras. We designed the explorer primarily as a long-term option for our rental fleet. This means, it these have been made for look, and longevity. The differences between this and our Pinnicle Flagship is a lighter fabric blend, for ease of transport, and the single door.

After 2024/25 season running 60 units of these, they quickly became a favourite for staff and clients. The modern design elements proving popular, as well as greater head room for all parties. They experience over 60 nights out and plenty of handling and transport around the country. The show many of their successful events.

Built for the Toughest Conditions
Our second iteration of the explorer is a true four-season shelter, engineered to withstand both snow and desert conditions. Crafted from technical 300GSM PC canvas, it undergoes custom dyeing and weather sealing. We reinforce tension points and double-stitch seams for exceptional durability. The 25/75 Tentpro®Polycotton blend enhances this strength, combining the natural comfort and breathability of cotton with the durability of polyester thread.
Having used and explored various cotton and polycotton tents over the years, we are confident that our TentPro fabric represents the best choice for New Zealand's high UV and damp climate conditions.

Woodburner Ready for ‘Hot Tenting’
Weather-Resistant Groundsheet
Our groundsheet, made from thermally welded rip-stop PVC, is impervious to water. The ‘bathtub style’ floor rises over 10 cm high, ensuring dryness even in floods. Heavy-duty zips allow floor removal for transport, storage, cleaning, or ventilation.
Robust Hardware
The tent’s heavy-duty steel poles have internal spring-loaded wires for easy assembly. The centre pole has a welded D ring for attaching an inner tent or chandelier. Two extra large storage pockets with three compartments each provide easy access to valuables. The anchors and guy ropes are attached with stainless D anchors and carabiner clips. This enables swift removal of the guys ropes, if they are damp these can leave mildew lines.
Convenient and Accessible
A zip entry point at the back of the tent accommodates electrical cords, ensuring rain and bug protection. The oversized carry bag, equipped with robust webbing, buckles, and compression straps, makes packing straightforward and efficient. Paracord guy ropes, custom YKK zips, extra-large stainless steel pegs all ensure reliability in the willderness.
