Many school camps are based at outdoor education centres, with students sleeping in dorm rooms. A field of bell tents offers something different: real camping as part of the camp itself, sleeping outdoors with their group.
Pitching the tents can be a great activity for students, and it saves on labour cost too. Or our crew can pitch and pack down for you.

Up to 4 people per tent. A more comfortable setup for teachers and group leaders. Towels are not included. Arrangements may vary with occupancy, season and availability.

Outpost is our event glamping and camping hire service, powered by Nomadic. Nomadic has delivered events across New Zealand since 2016.
Camping and Camping Plus tents sleep up to 5 people each, and Glamping tents up to 4. Tell us how many students and staff you have and we will work out the tents you need.
Across New Zealand, from depots in the North Island and near Christchurch in the South Island.
Delivery, rental and mileage are included in every quote. Pitching and packing down can be done by our crew or by your group, so tell us which you prefer. Bedding depends on the comfort level you choose: Camping, Camping Plus or Glamping.
A 20% deposit of the estimated total confirms your booking, and the balance is paid before the camp. The minimum charge is 75% of the booked amount. We ask for your final list of tent configurations and numbers three weeks before the camp.
Ideally we liaise with one or two people coordinating the camp. We also ask for some flexibility with set-up and pack-down times, so we can work around other events and any dire weather.
