Constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials, the tent blends breathable 100% cotton canvas walls (290 g/m²) with a reinforced cotton-polyester roof (380 g/m²) for enhanced durability. This combination ensures effective ventilation in warm conditions and dependable protection during heavy rain. The heavy-duty tub-shaped PVC groundsheet (650 g/m²) prevents water and debris intrusion on uneven or wet surfaces.

The Big Horn Series is manufactured from two different types of fabric. Tentex® PC39 is used for the roof and Tentex® PC28 for the rest of the tent.

The roof is manufactured from Tentex® PC39 the fabric is made from ring-spun yarn, woven in a very dense twill weave (duck woven). Comfortable in all weather conditions and throughout all seasons.

The roof of the Big Horn Series is treated with an oil-based coating to be UV resistant, fade resistant, water repellent, and mould and rot resistant while maintaining breathability. The coating is invisible, but without a doubt the most important aspect of your tent. The coating was integrated into the tent fabric fibers prior to production.

The heavy-duty bathtub-style groundsheet rises some 12cm high and is made of durable 100% waterproof polyethylene for maximum comfort, and features rip-stop for strength. The tub-style groundsheet is virtually indestructible and allows camping on any surface. Even if your tent sits in 10 cm of water for months on end, you and your gear will stay perfectly dry.
